Borlon is a section of the Belgian town of Durbuy located in the Walloon Region in the province of Luxembourg.

The territory of Borlon has been occupied since prehistoric times: a Mesolithic deposit was discovered at Fontaine al Sâ and a Neolithic habitat at “Sur les Communes”. Gallo-Roman structures and Merovingian tombs have also been unearthed in Borlon.

In the Middle Ages, Borlon and Oneux depended on the ban of Barvaux.

Before the merger of the municipalities in 1977, Borlon was a municipality in its own right, which had only been part of the province of Luxembourg since 1839. Before that, it was part of the department of Sambre-et-Meuse. It was created in 1823 by the union of the localities of Borlon (with Oneux) and Palenge. In 1826, Borlon merged with the commune of Petite-Somme and its annex of Septon. On May 25, 1900, Palenge, Petite-Somme and Septon were detached from Borlon to form the commune of Septon. The Borlon section is today made up of Borlon, Oneux, Tige, Bois de Grâ and moulin d'Amas.
