A molybdenum prospect on the east side of Sheep Mountain. The ore occurred as sparse disseminated molybdenite in irregular quartz veins and granite. Development consisted of a short adit and several open cuts.
Alteration: Host Rocks Locally Hydrothermally Altered

Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc

Deposit: 3 parallel quartz lenses 4 in.-5 ft thick plus narrow discontinuous quartz-rich pegmatites and veins. The type of deposit is unknown mrds record w017838 has been merged with this record and deleted
