Deposit: This group consists of four tom cats chiefly underlaid by granite. Granite reaches surface of most of the group, with a large inclusion of hornfels on the tom cats nos. 1 and 2 that contains traces of lode matter and tactite) ; info.src : 2 unpub rept tactite is restricted to a few inches and rapidly grades into barren limestone along strike away from the contact zone. Area is in the central part of the olsen stock and includes shallow pendants of hornfels on the eastern edge of the stock. Quartz vein in granodiorite.
Deposit type: W skarn
Development: Area of claims was prospected in 1918, but no significant deposits were found
Geology: Tactite at the tom cat prospect is restricted to a few inches and rapidly grades into barren limestone along strike away from the contact zone.
