Structure: North-Trending Faults

Alteration: Argillization, Silicification.

Deposit: North trending faults. Mineralized fault zones with disseminations and veinlets this record is an updated one including duplicate information from m055255 which has been deleted. ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Geology: Mineralization occurs in bleached and altered andesite flows, tuffs and breccias of the kate peak formation. Cinnabar occurs As fine-grained disseminated crystals and irregular veinlets along north-trending faults. Workings consist of a small open pit, a 200-ft. Adit, and numerous cuts and trenches. Opalite pods & lenses are apparently nearly barren.
