A former underground Ag-Au-Pb-Cu-Zn mine located about 1 mile SE of Turkey Creek station. Owned by Mr. Cleator. Discovered 1915. Produced 1915-1922.
Mineralization is the Silver Cord vein that dips S or SE at about 20º and has a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment of near-surface ore. No alteration noted.
Area structures include veins that are mostly dipping less than 40 degrees. Foliation in Precambrian rocks trends N-S.
Production was some 12 carloads of ore.
