Deposit: Massive white vein quartz on mine and mill dumps; possible vein outcrop near upper shaft. N 30 e, vertical shear, 1 ft wide, with vuggy quartz, cutting phyllite wallrock. Vein quartz contains sulfides, and is brecciated. Sulfides form breccia matrix coating quartz fragments. Phyllite cleaves N 30 e; shearing and veining apparently follow rock cleavage.

Deposit type: Low-sulfide Au-quartz vein

Development: Old mill ruins indicate some small past production; no activity in1984, but 2 new recent cuts made at collar of lower shaft.
