Deposit: Massive white quartz vein in phyllite, knotted schist; vein 3-4 ft thick in outcrop, following cleavage planes of wallrock. Vein is brecciated with late generation of clear, blue-white quartz cement. Some vugs in vein with large clear quartz crystals; vein has streaks of wallrock inclusions. Vein branches, pinches and swells, maximum 15-20 ft thick, some Fe oxide stain, sulfide cast, with some silvery-colored fine-grained sulfide present; possibly arsenopyrite.
Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock
Development: Old shallow incline; new claim posts (1984).
Ore(s): Vein Follows Cleavage Planes Of Wallrock.
