Puits de Chana
This shaft was used exclusively for servicing and was used for drainage of the pit and the aeration. It was sunk from 1922 in several stages until 1962 to a total depth of 855.5 meters.
Until 1946, the shaft was owned by the "Compagnie des Mines de Roche-la-Molière et Firminy" and was then taken over by the state-organized "Charbonnages de France".
