This former coal mine consisted of two shafts. The "Saint-Dominique" pit already existed in 1846 and at that time already had a depth of 192 meters. In 1881, the shaft received a metal headframe. Operations ceased in 1955.
The "Dyèvre" pit was put into operation as a twin shaft in 1870. Difficulties with unstable terrain led to backfilling of the shaft and resinking it next to the "Saint-Dominique" shaft in 1903. The closure probably took place in 1955.
