The mineralization is hosted in a swarm of stockwork-like mineralized dikes that intruded Early Paleozoic granitoid rocks of the Togtokhynshil complex. The dikes are of Devonian age, probably of the same age as the Khalzan Buregtei. The dikes outcropping in an area of about 2 × 2 km, are 0.5 to 2 m wide and up to 500 m long. They are composed of peralkaline syenites and granites.
