The pegmatite is approximately 2m wide striking SE at bearing 100 degrees and dipping -60 degrees north. It is traceable over 350m. It's hosted within a gabbroic intrusive rock. There is a costean excavated along the edge of the pegmatite that is collapsed but was once up to 4m deep. The costean is approximately 55m long, with a couple of shallow test pits further to the SE along strike.
To the north-western, where the pegmatite is still evident as discontinuous, poddy, siliceous and micaceous scree (525721mE, 6933897mN). In the south-eastern area it appears to pinch out at 526030mE and 6933834mN.
The costean extents are from 525936mE, 6933857mN to 525871mE, 6933868mN.
The pegmatite is well zoned, although quite thin. Central to the body are segmented cores of blocky grey quartz surrounded by a discontinuous, thin zone of cleavelandite and quartz containing minor amounts of massive rubellite, fine grained silvery-green muscovite and lepidolite. The next zone includes quartz and microcline, and muscovite. The wall zone consists of a much finer grained, layered aplitic unit consisting of albite, quartz and mica with a 2cm wide band of fine-grained almandine.

Located on the DALGARANGA PROJECT, exploration lease number E59/2053
