Quarry located through a tip by local quarry owner Olav Arne Haugen (Folefalla quarry). The quarry is recognizable on the LiDAR map, but not on any aerial picture, suggesting it is considerable older than 1972.
The pegmatite seems to be a dike dipping at a low angle in NE direction under amphibolite.
The length of this shallow quarry is ca. 25m, with a small prospect ca. 8m SSE of the quarry. There are no indications that there were megacrysts present in this pegmatite.
An exposure in the middle of the quarry suggests a symmetrical development, with sprays of biotite growing towards the central parts of the pegmatite.
