The deposit occurs in the interlayer fractured zone of Middle Permian Yangxin Formation Dolomite, and the orebody shape is stratiform. Studies and reports on this deposit are rare, particularly those focused on carbonate minerals. Carbonate minerals are gangue minerals in many deposits and are especially important in Mississippi Valley-Type (MVT) deposits.
