Standard Mine; Welsh Foxdale Mine: New Pandora Mine
A lead-zinc mine worked intermittently between about 1868, perhaps much earlier on a very limited scale, and 1931 by many different mining companies. Latter workings at Pandora were held by the New Pandora Mining Company (the mine is sometimes referred to as the "New Pandora Mine) and finally by The Eagle Lead Company.
