Hejiangkou is also characterized by skarn-type Sn-Cu mineralization and quartz vein type W-Sn mineralization. The stratiform and lentoid skarn-type ore bodies are the mainly mining target in this deposit, which occur in the endo- or exo-contact zone between the Xitian Triassic granites and the Devonian limestone, with 500–1200 m long and 30–50 m thick.
