Structure: Normal Faulting Paleochannel

Tectonics: Passive Continental Margin

Deposit: Deposit lies a fe W 100 ft updip from a deep clay-filled channel. There are two ore bodies.

Deposit type: Sandstone U

Development: Surface radioactivity anomaly led to discovery. Extensively drilled at close spacing by superior oil. Later mined by susquehanna-western, inc.

Rock formation(s): Deweesville Mbr, Whitsett Formation;Conquista Clay Mbr, Whitsett Formation


Ore(s): Permeable Deweesville Sandstone Overlying Impermeable Conquista Clay Updip From A Deep, Clay-Filled Channel.
