Outcrop of meta-ophiolitic rocks at Punta Belvedere (a rocky spur at 2625 m along the northeast ridge of Bric Rosso), on the watershed between Vallone di Cristove (also known as Vallone di Cretove) and Vallone dell'Albergian.
The clefts, hosted in blueschist facies metabasalts, are lined with pluricentimetric albite crystals, whose colour varies from yellow-greenish to dark green because of 'byssolite' inclusions. Globular aggregates of lamellar hematite crystals are also found.
