Small copper prospect having produced 20 tons of ore. In 1975 the deposit was studied by A/S Sulitjelma Gruber, and in 1992 the NGU took out ore samples. The prospect measures 4x3x2m and has a dump of 20m3. The ore is emplaced in coarse-grained amphibolite with amphibole-xx of up to 2-3cm.
In the same area several other sulphide-ore containing amphibolites are exposed: the riverbed of the river Steinåga(UTM33 481800 7405330), and 30m north of river Steinåga, in an old riverbed, 3 exposures can be found, up to 4m in thickness.
The actual coordinates are most likely: 66.76547,14.58672.
A tiny prospect might be found at: 66.76557,14.58627.
