A small quartz prospect discovered during the mapping of the Gjegningheia pegmatite. The quarry is located in a massive quartz core. The relationship of this pegmatite with the Gjegningheia pegmatite is difficult to establish due to the whole area being heavily overgrown. It might be a separate dyke in amphibolite, since there is a contact between them ca. 10 m. SW of the quarry. But it could also be part of the larger Gjegningheia pegmatite.
No accessory minerals were observed.
