A former Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu-Au-As occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SE¼SE¼ sec. 34, T24N, R18W, G&SRM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) NE of Chloride, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Harlin Sater, California (1977). Operated by Cerbat Silver Mining and Milling as part of the Elkhart Mine. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. The ore body strikes N20W and dips 64NE at a width of 2.44 meters. Mineralization is associated with a Lower Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Precambrian schistosity strikes N30E. Veins, fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally. Associated rocks include Neoproterozoic granite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.
Workings include unspecified underground openings (an alternate name infers a shaft [Argyle shaft]).
