Structure: Granodiorite Stock With Assoc. Faults, Fractures
Deposit: This prospect was discovered in 1908 by w.t. Mcardle. The property comprises a group of 6 or more claims trending NE for over a mile. It is opened by several shafts, the deepest being 45 feet. The deposits are replacement deposits in association with a quartz syenite porphyry or aplitic dike which dips 65 nw., and is 6 feet in maximum width. In places the silicified dike and vein croppings stand boldly from 1 to 8 ft. Above the ground surface. As exposed by shafts on several of the claims, the footwall side of the dike shows a vein 6 inches to 2 feet in width, composed of copper carbonates, oxides, and chalcopyrite in a quartz gangue. The ore also contains considerable ag; some assays report As high As 38 oz/ton Ag (schrader, 1912, p 143).
