Structure: Granodiorite Stock With Assoc. Faults & Fractures
Deposit: Lode or mineralized band no production since 1927 (schrader, 1935, p 37.) deposit located in 1876 by an official of the southern pacific co. This mine is located on the skylark claim no. 1, one of a group of six (chinaman) claims. Claims were located in 1895 by w.t. Mcardle. (the copper mt. Claim no. 1 at the lower (elevation) end of the group has a 50 ft. Tunnel.) the chinaman mine is located on the limestone side of the contact. The ore is contained in a lode or mineralized band about 22 ft. In width. About 80 tons of 14% ore remaining from a heap of which a test was made at the contact smelter, lies on the dump (schrader, 1912, p 102 + 136). ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Development: Mine is on one of 6 claims located in 1895 by w.t. Mcardle
Geology: Quartz syenite porphyry dikes (apliticphase) are associated with the deposits.
