A manganese prospect located South of the Hardshell mine, about 1 mile SW of Harshaw.

Mineralization is an occurrence of manganese oxides as the cementing substance of quartzite and fesite breccias in outcrops in Hardshell Gulch. In places the solid ore is 6 inches wide, but most of it is narrow seams in the fractured rock.

Workings include a few shallow holes.
