The presence of a mine at these coordinates is certain. However, the name is not certain. Nilsson (1979) places four mines in the area between lakes Geitsjø and nedre Rødtjern. A mine further to the south has been named Unnamed Chromium Mine 11, and it seems unlikely that this is one of the four Nilsson's mines. But around the coordinates for Aurora, there are no convincing signs of mining at the relief map or on aerial pictures. There might have been prospecting at:
62.54247°N 11.79372°Ø
62.54199°N 11.79399°Ø
62.54182°N 11.79423°Ø
62.5417°N 11.79336°Ø
62.54096°N 11.79243°Ø
62.54107°N 11.79251°Ø
The names of the other three mines are: Lisa, Storhaab (Storhaab) and one without name.
