Structure: Intense Fracturing, Late Quartz Veining, Cross-Cutting Brecciation Wahmonie Flat And Wahmonie-Salyer Volcanic Center

Alteration: Alteration Of Volcanics, Iron Staining; Argillic & Silicic Alteration

Deposit: Breccia fragments on dump; quartz matrix; some rocks with disseminated pyrite, quartz veining, some vugs and sulfide casts filled with fluffy brown limonite, manganese mentioned by ball, 1907, p. 147 - little else is known about the mine ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 3 field observ

Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock

Development: Last activity was about 1928. No activity at time of field examination in 1982. Shaft collar plugged; used for disposal site-radioactive waste; access not possible. Prospected in 1853

Geology: Alteration can be traced over 4 miles to the SW and several miles to the NE of the wingfield shaft forming an elliptical halo
