Located on the Eldorado vein.
Deposit: El dorado vein vein pinches and swells.
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Development: The mine was most developed in 1868 at a shallow level. In 1959-60 some exploratory work was done and one shaft was sunk to 1000 ft depth. The belmont mine co. Explored a rich ore zone off the 1000 ft level, but shut down underground exploration in 1960 in favor of surface drilling.
Ore(s): The Ore Is Control By Bedding Planes With A Strike Of N15-20w, Dip 30-45 Ne.
