A Cu-U-Baryte-Fluorspar occurrence/group of claims located in the W½ sec. 7, T11N, R13W, G&SRM, about 6 miles NW of old Alamo, on Bureau olf Land Management administered land. Owned by E.W. Tate of Wendon, Arizona (1951). Owned by Pearl Craig, Arizona (1973). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a radioactive shear zone that strikes N55W and dips 70SW, and is 305 feet (92.96 meters) wide hosted in volcanic breccia (agglomerate) of the Artillery Formation. Three similar zones are exposed SW of the prospect pit. Mineralization includes secondary copper minerals. Brecciated rock in the shear zone is cemented with baryte, fluorite and secondary copper minerals. Local rocks include Pliocene to middle Miocene deposits.

The rocks of this prospect belong chiefly to the Artillery Formation, probably of Eocene age, which is underlain by Precambrian schist and gneiss. Nearby exposures indicate that the Artillery Formation has been thrust over the Precambrian rocks at a low angle. The Artillery Formation in the prospect area is represented by a breccia consisting of fragments of schist, felsitic material, conglomerate, and limestone cemented with silica, carbonates, and manganese oxide. This is probably a fault breccia related to the low-angle thrust fault, but it may be in part a sedimentary breccia at the base of the Artillery Formation. Associated rocks include Eocene-Neoproterozoic schist.

Local geologic structures include a shear zone that trends N55W and dips 70SW.

Workings include surface openings comprised of a single prospect pit.
