A Au-Cu-Fe occurrence/mine located in the NW¼ sec. 1, T28N, R19W, G&SRM, 4.8 km (3.0 miles) ENE of Senator Mountain (coordinates of record), on private land. Owned & operated by J. W. Miller, Arizona (1959). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters. NOTE: The geographic coordinates presented in the USGS MRDS database are in error and do not match the stated T&R location, placing this locality along the Colorado River, in a vastly different geological setting.

Mineralization is a narrow fault zone that parallels the gneissic layering in its hanging wall. There is a slight discordance of the fault plane with the attitude of the layering in the footwall gneiss. Amphibolite and biotite gneiss are the principal rock types in the mine area, but at least one 0.6 meter-thick bed of laminated iron formation crops out at several points SW and W of the main shaft. Calc-silicate rock is cut locally by quartzose veins or pegmatitic alaskite. The veins include fine-grained, granular quartz, iron carbonate, specularite, pyrite, and secondary copper minerals. Sericitization is intense and widespread.

Workings include surface and underground openings with the workings totaling approximately 100 meters.
