Structure: Alpha Fault Cuts Vein Group In Lower Levels. Diablo Grit Bed Structurally Repeated
Alteration: Carbonitization
Commodity: Ore is oxidized manganiferous, limonites, siliceous material typical of the district; it is, however, somewhat more siliceous than the average
Deposit: Lenses lying en e'chelon, in places three parallel to one another, in a zone approx. 100 feet wide the ore milled in 1883 must have carried $65 /ton, or roughly 60 oz. Ag/ton. From 1883 to 1891 , the grade had fallen one half.
Geology: The eastward termination of veins, at the ground surface, approx. Coincides with the eastern boundary of carbonitized zone. Argillite is interbedded with at least two belts of felsite cut by dikes.
