A former Pb-Ag-Au-Zn occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 4, T22N, R17W, G&SRM, 2½ miles NE of Cerbat, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Messrs. Cory & Potts (1881). Owned by F. O. Peterson, Arizona (1977). Operated 1863 to 1891. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a polymetallic deposit hosted in schist, gneiss and granite, with a 2 foot (0.61 meter) wide vein of sulfide ore. The ore body strikes N40W and dips 76NE. The mineralization is associated with a Late Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Precambrian schistosity strikes N30ºE. Veins, fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally. Associated rocks include Neoproterozoic granite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.

Workings include underground openings with a length of 91.44 meters and an overall depth of 121.92 meters. Workings in 1881 comprised a 500 foot deep shaft and drifts.

Production statistics: Year: 1891 (period = 1863-1891): Pb (estimate): ^20 weight percent; Ag (estimate): ^3,000 ounces (84,710 grams)/ton.
