A former Au occurrence/mine located in the NW¼SW¼ sec. 24, T19N, R20W, G&SRM, South of the Aztec shaft on the Black Eagle ore shoot, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Unity Mining Incorporated, Arizona (1988). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a Au deposit. The ore shoot is 400 feet long on the 900 foot level, and averages 7 feet wide. Local rocks include Middle Miocene to Oligocene volcanic rocks.
Workings include underground openings comprised of the the 1,100 foot deep Black Eagle shaft.
