A former surface and underground Cu-Ag-Pb-Mo-Mn-V mine with surface and underground workings located in East-central sec. 34 T.11S., R.7E. (Vaca Hills 15 minute topo map), 5 miles NW of Silver Bell. Owned by Gordon.

Mineralization is spotty copper oxides, minor copper sulfides, and wulfenite, with manganese and iron oxides in a disseminated ore body, along a fault zone cutting Cretaceous sediments and andesitic volcanics. Alteration includes propylitic and skarn. An associated rock unit is granite. Apparently peripheral to the Silver Bell mineralization. Some prospects show trace of Cu oxide and specular hematite, but most are absent of mineralization.

Workings include shallow shafts and surface openings. Produced some 300 tons of ore in the mid-1950's, averaging about 2.5% Cu and 0.14 oz. Ag/T. One shaft is greater than 50 feet (15.24 meters) deep, while the other is less than 50 feet.
