A former small Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag mine located in the NW ¼ sec. 18, T. 11 S., R.16E, at an elevation of 6,760 feet. Produced 1947-1948. Owned/operated at times, or in part, by W.W. Adams; and, W.R. Shanklin.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit (bedding replacement) with partly oxidized base metal sulfides and pyrite in skarn, gouge, and breccia along strong fault zone and in adjacent metamorphosed Cambrian Abrigo Formation close to the contact with Laramide quartz diorite. Alteration is skarn. Host rock units are the Martin Limestone and the Abrigo Limestone. An associated rock unit is the Leatherwood Quartz Diorite. There is much skarn, copper oxides, chalcopyrite, and pyrite.

Workings include adits and winze operations. A major adit striking N75E along the fault separating the Martin Limestone from the Abrigo Formation. Another adit lies 50' above. Some 600 tons of ore averaging about 5% Pb, 3% Zn, 3% Cu, and 30 oz. Ag/T were produced in 1947-1948.
