A Cu-Ag-Pb-Zn-Au mine located on the Chicago claim, in W 1/2, NE 1/4, sec. 36, T.18S., R.15E., 1 mile south of the Narragansett claim. Owned at times, or in part, by the Rosemont Copper Co., the Rosemont Development Co., Asarco (American Smelting And Refining Co.), and, Chilson.

Mineralization is copper carbonates, oxides, silicates, and sulfides with minor lead and zinc minerals in fault, fracture, and bedding-controlled pyrometasomatic replacement orebodies in crushed and silicated Paleozoic limestone intruded by quartz latite porphyry in thrust-faulted Paleozoic formations.

A contact between a dike of granite porphyry along which there is a fault zone of crushed material and contact-metamorphic minerals showing large fragments of limestone containing sulphides and secondary copper minerals.

Workings include a 100 foot deep shaft, tunnels, and open cuts. Rich surface ores were mined in the 1890's. Sporadic production of some 3,000 tons of ore averaging about 10% Cu and 1 oz. Ag/T, together with the Oregon Copper & Coconino Mines
