Structure: Deposits Occur Along A Northwest-Striking Fault Zone
Alteration: Prominent Silicification.
Deposit: Discovery year: 1880's two patented claims mineral survey number 1885 and at least six unpatented claims. Volcano vein (n35w,60-75e), is As much As 15 m. Wide with rhyolite tuff footwall and andesite hanging wall. Vein is intensely silicified and brecciated. Unoxidized ore below 30 m. Contained pyrite and argentite (?).
Development: Mine being rehabilitated in 1980.
Ore(s): Fault-Fracture Structural Control.
