Structure: Monzonite Porphyry Southwest Of Mine. Shear Zone Strikes N 50 E.

Alteration: Propylitized Andesite Near Latite Dikes.

Deposit: Deposits occur in several veins arranged en echelon in a northeast striking shear zone. The golden rule vein crops out for about 800 ft. In length and ranges from 2 ft. To 8 ft. In width. Discovery year: 1880's

Geology: For general geology see hillsboro district.

Ore(s): Mineralized Solutions Rising From A Shallow Igneous Mass Were Channeled Along Fault Zones And Localized In Fissure Fractures.
