A former underground Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the SE¼NE¼SE¼ sec. 30, T.13S., R.12E. (Ara 7.5 minute topo map). Owned at times, or in part, by the Mile Wide Copper Co.; and, Beard & Allen.
Mineralization is spotty copper carbonates and sulfides in irregular, small replacement bodies along fracture zones in limestone lenses in Cretaceous arkose close to a Laramide intrusive dike.
Workings include a 360 foot deep shaft and underground workings. Worked in 1937 and 1956. It produced some 90 tons of ore averaging about 4.6% Cu, 1.1 oz. Ag/T and a trace of gold.
