A former Au occurrence/mine located in the NE¼ sec. 33, T19N, R20W, 1.2 km (0.7 mile) NE of the Boundary Cone (coordinates of record) and about 3 miles SSW of Oatman, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Frieda Soffe, California (1967). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a Au deposit hosted in trachyte and andesite. ore in veinlets and stringers in a wide zone at a width of 30.48 meters. The ore is associated with brecciated zones. Associated rocks include granite, Neoproterozoic-Pliocene Oatman Andesite, Alcyone Trachite, Gold Road Latite, and the Times Porphyry. Local rocks include Middle Miocene to Oligocene volcanic rocks.
Regional geologic structures include NNW- to WNW-trending vein and fault system in Tertiary volcanic rocks.
Workings include underground openings with a total depth of 126.49 meters.
