A former underground Au-Ag-Cu mine located in the NE¼ sec. 19, T.23S., R.11E., SE of the Tres Amigos Mine adit and about 4 miles SW of Ruby, on National Forest land. Owned at times, or in part, by Hatcher & Carpenter; Dale; and, Chenoweth.

Mineralization is brecciated, lensing fissure zone in Jurassic tuff. Brecciated to pulverized country rock in the lenticular bodies is cemented by finely crystalline quartz containing fine to medium native gold and silver mineralization with iron and manganese oxides. The host rock unit is the Oro Blanco Formation. An associated rock unit is the Sidewinder Quartz Monzonite. Ore control was the contact between the quartz monzonite dike and the conglomerate. Alteration is minor.

Local structures include NW- and NE-trending fault zones. Tectonic elements include the Oro Blanco Fault Block.

Workings include 2 shallow shafts with some lateral work & open cut operations.
