Adit excavated in a southwest-northeast direction at 1286 m to the south of Roten Bach (Roti Bach) and named in memory of Jens H. Dahl, director of the Goppenstein lead mine in the period 1897-1901. Its is the lowest level of the Rotenberg workings of the Goppenstein lead mine; a series of raises connect it to the Tiebel adit (level 1310) and to the upper levels I (1345), II (1360), III (1380), IV (1400), and V (1425).

An area with a zeolithe mineralisation inside cavities of the quartz gangue has been recently found (Rüegg & Klemm, 2002; Rüegg, 2005).
