A former Pb-V-Zn-Mo underground mine located in the SW¼ sec. 3, T4S, R14E, about 1¾ miles E of Riverside, on BLM-administered land. NOTE: Accurate coordinates obtained January, 2007 (main adit portal).

Mineralization is in a fissure in a limestone inclusion in the diabase and along bedding planes in the Mescal Limestone. The ore zone strikes N80E and dips 85S. The vanadates are younger than galena but older than quartz.

Workings include a shaft 40 feet deep, a few short tunnels, and a small open cut 600 feet S of the main workings.
