A fairly extensive site with a number of ruined buildings, a buddle (a second having been demolished) with an associated tip of crushed sand and 2 shaft collars which are still apparent, as is an adit entrance. The main dump is quite extensive and galena is abundant. A distinctive feature is a curved stone structure which was presumably an ore bin (a similar feature can be seen at Eaglebrook Mine nearby). The 1888 Ordnace Survey Map (see under photos) shows a shaft and adit high up on the hillside and dumps can still be seen though access is now difficult. That map also shows a building in black to the left (west) of the site which is currently being redeveloped and was possibly the mine captains house. Unfortunately the developers have not been too careful with the features, for example the buddle has been cleared to make a track. Visited in September 2019.
