Tynewydd
An interesting little mine cut by a stream along the valley floor. To one side on the steep hill are 3 shafts, a wheelpit and building and a blocked level (?). Below the shafts is a further blocked level though without significant tips or dumps. On the opposite bank of the stream is a bob pit, a flooded adit and a small dump which contains abundant galena. See the historical map for the arrangement of the pumping rods. September 2019.
