Replacement deposit in Magdalena series in a shear zone. 10 to 12 feet thick, 350 feet long and explored be a 200 foot inclined shaft. Contains a persistent 2 foot seam of limonite, goethite and gypsum. Banded aragonite containing some malachite.
Structure: Deposit Occurs Within A Fault Striking N 02 W And Dipping 38 Ne.
Deposit: Deposit crops out for a length of 1000 ft. And ranges from 6 ft. To 15 ft. Thick. Six unpatented claims in the 1940's.
Rock formation(s): Magdalena Group
Ore(s): Fault-Fracture Structural Control.
