A former small surface and underground W mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 26, T18S, R19E, about ¾ mile SW of McGrew Spring or 6 miles W of San Juan, in the eastern foot of the Whetstone Mountains, along the north side of Middle Canyon. Started before 1909 (1905 ?). Owned at times, or in part, by the Euclid Mining Co. (prior to 1909); Conlig Tungsten Co., Standard Tungsten Corp.; The Dewey Chadwick & Associates (1939); and, the Minerals Development Co.

Mineralization is sparse wolframite and scheelite in irregular quartz veins in medium-grained, white, muscovite granite of Precambrian age that forms a ridge and is intruding Precambrian Pinal Schist. A vein of crystalline grayish-white quartz outcrops on the South slope of this ridge for a length of 600 feet (195 meters). It is 6 inches (15 cm) to 2 feet (0.6 meters) wide and strikes N.60ºE. & dips 80ºNW. Adjacent granite shows intense sericitic alteration and contains thin particles of wolframite to ¼ inch long. Sparse, thin veinlets and tiny particles of scheelite are locally present.

Workings include surface and underground comprised of several shallow pits and trenches and short adits.

Some tungsten concentrates were produced in 1943-1944.
