A former small underground Pb-Ag-Zn-Au-(As-Cd-Sb) mine located in west-central sec. 12, T.20S., R.22E., ¼ mile south of Tombstone and about 500 yards east of the Empire shaft. Owned at times, or in part, by the Tombstone Mill & Mining Co., Tombstone Consolidated Mines Co., Bunker Hill Mines Co., and the Tombstone Development Co.
Mineralization is irregular oxidized orebodies of argentiferous lead and zinc sulfides in Cretaceous Bisbee Group limestone along the crest and limb of an anticlinal roll and along 'northeast' fissures.
Local structures include the east edge of the Bisbee Group outcrop in the Tombstone Basin.
Workings include a shaft(s). A few thousand tons of ore were produced in the late 1880s and a few hundred tons in the 1920s.
