Basalt fragments embedded in tuff.
Minerals have been found ca. 300 m southeast of the pass, along the dirt road leading to Monte Calvarina, on the border with the municipal territory of Chiampo (Vicenza province). The most interesting mineral is offretite, which appears as packets of colourless to pale yellow crystals and as submillimetric orange-yellow individual crystals.
