Jackpot #7
An U-V occurrence/claim/prospect located in approximate SE¼ sec. 10, T27N, R10E, G&SRM, on the E side of Moenkopi Wash, about 4 miles NW of Cameron. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented for this locality are approximate to the center of sec. 10.
Mineralization is an U-V deposit hosted in the Sandy Chinle unit that contains carbonaceous silty and clay lenses with some 1imonite-jarosite staining. A zone of about 1 foot thick contains some carnotite and autunite. An outcrop occurs on the W side of a small N-S-trending syncline.
Analysis test results: 0.39% e U3O8; 0.53% U3O8.
