An U occurrence/prospect located in sec. 1, T17N, R23E, G&SRM, 20.6 km (12.8 miles) ESE of Sun Valley and 8.8 km (5.4 miles) SSW of Adamana (Apache County), on National Park Service land (Petrified Forest National Park). NOTE: This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. NOTE: The geographic coordinates presented are for the center of the section. NOTE: Collecting on National Park land is strictly prohibited.

An U deposit comprised probably of carnotite in Chinle Formation shale just under a conglomerate layer. Cobalt color and jarosite yellow present.

Analysis results: 0.03 to 0.06$ U3O8 & 0.03 to 0.07% U3O8.
