Alteration: Wall Rock Is Chloritized, Fractured, Bleached, Kaolinized For 10-15 Ft Away From Shear Zone.

Deposit: Narrow stopes follow shear zone in sheeted, altered diorite. Brecciated quartz vein follows shear zone; lots of Cu- ox and Fe ox along zone and vein.

Deposit type: Polymetallic veins

Geology: Mine is developed by a vertical shaft and inclined shaft on a quartz vein that strikes N 15 deg W and dips 28 deg - 40 deg ne. It is a single vein of variable width and about a foot thick in the accessible workings. The vein in the wall of the inclined shaft contained 20 ppm silver and 0.05 ppm gold. Dump quartz contained 50 ppm silver and 4.5 ppm gold. (willden and speed, p 67) basin around mine displays mottled red and green alteration (hematite and chlorite). Eastern shaft has green altered metavolcanics on dump.
